I like to travel, but can't afford it. Photography has helped me through a lot of difficulties. It's a wonderful and enjoyable hobby. I'm a thinker and a daydreamer. Photography helps me to bring some daydreams into reality.

I have recently removed a lot of my pictures from Flickr because Yahoo's security system here is just about non-existent and I'm soooooo tired of people saying things like "Well it's photo sharing so you just have to live with someone taking your pictures!" I believe that's a sharing of the visual, NOT the possession! I have discovered that some Flickr members like the photo work of others to the point of posting their pics on their other sites. It's nice that someone like my work to the point where they want to show it elsewhere, but being asked first takes the compliment to a new and acceptable level.

Okay, so the above may explain why anything I post in the future will be more snapshot and less art.
