Photography is in my blood. I grew up in a photo lab owned and operated by my father, where I now earn a living. I am very much into the retail sales of image finishing and photographic equipment. I am the director of Sport & Event Photography, where we provided unique solutions for corporate and special event photography, and specialize in offering complete photography packages for youth sports leagues.

Besides my professional endeavors with special event and youth sports photography I am an avid film shooter. When I shoot for leisure I want to get back to the roots of photography. I seek to gain knowledge from using techniques and equipment from an earlier era. Shooting in this way is important to me because it gives me time to hone my skills with tools and a craft that, I feel, is much less forgiving than with the use of digital equipment. Shooting in this manner is also a way for me to escape the commercial, somewhat cookie-cutter, aspects of my professional work.

Being that both aspects of my photography are very important I am always seeing ways to meld the two philosophies of my shooting together. This is where my work in the future will be moving.
