Just another photographer with the passion for eons.

Editor and writer, too. The visual is what matters most to me.

Working in the arts, doing stock, doing portraits and photojournalist shoots of families, kids, events, babies, etc.

LET ME REITERATE THIS...

YOU WILL BE BLOCKED:

If you make my photos favorites, and you have no profile, no photos available to me, no photo stream, photos that are not family friendly, etc. you will be blocked. If you wish to be unblocked, contact me after you have a legitimate photo stream.

F&F: I have made my children's photos F&F only.

If you want to use one of my photos, or want a print, just ask, please.

MY APOLOGIES if you have added me as a contact or emailed me, or anything like that and you haven't heard back. I try to keep up and catch up, so if you get overlooked, try me again, or be patient. Not sure if the planet is spinning faster, but I seem to get more and more booked all the time.

I see flickr as a photography university, we learn from each

other, we grow, & we share our work. It is also a place for me to archive my work, and to favorite all photos of my kids and their kids. I wish flickr offered a way to make more than one kind of favorite, because then I could put the family ones in one category and my random favorites in another.

"One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind."

I'm down Main St. (Seal Beach) at least 5 to 6 days out of the week, and I've probably walked right past KC and/or Mark on more than several occasions. Although we're in the same area, I've never had the pleasure of meeting them in person! The point of my anecdote is this; KC has the ability to take a photo of any random, general thing around Seal Beach, post it to her stream here, and give that image so much more meaning to me than if I were standing in front of that very same subject in person. I could see the same bench on Main St. thirty times a day, and only see her photo of it once and be deeply moved. Her work is amazing... I'll never stop taking notes.

I was attracted to Katzeye's photos because they are all over the place. By that, I mean it seems like she takes great joy in photographing what she sees whether up close or from a distance, dramatic or subtle, colorful, or subdued. She is like the ocean. Always different, always full of surprises.

Katzeye's photos are touching, fun, and full of life. I enjoy seeing the world through her eyes and the love she has for life really shows in her work. Love you KC and thanks for all the words of encouragement!!
