.. i am taking photos for about 40 years now, starting from bathroom come dark room setup, you know what I mean if you were an adult in the 20th century,

my flickr stream started as a collection of photos from around new zealand taken on our trips, this year (2018) I also started doing "photo a day" which injects a few random non-family-album-type-stuff photos into the mix and became a visual diary of sorts , also occasionally I upload old film prints I did years ago

I don't do many faves, in most cases I rather prefer to leave a comment if I like something. So if you choose to follow or fave me don't be offended by not getting faves back but be sure I always reply to a comment. And I do delete all group cut and paste comments with banner images and cut and paste text so if you do those you are wasting precious pixels on me.

2021:

doing "365/ photo-a-day" for 3 years has changed how I take photos and what I find interesting/worth taking photos of.

I was never much interested in taking pictures with "meaning" to start with , which is also why I never title my pics, but to add to that I am no longer interested in taking photos of "things", i.e taking pictures of something because of WHAT it is. I am only interested in taking pictures of time and light. I am fascinated and driven by trying to capture light in it's natural habitat - time.
