I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Michigan. Originally from the west side of the state, now I live in the great city of Ann Arbor.

 

I am a pilot. I fly both single engine airplanes and gliders. What can I say about flying? Words just cannot possibly describe the magic. Breaking the bonds of gravity and leaving the troubles of the ground bound world behind is an incredible natural high. The sense of adventure, pride, and accomplishment flying has given me is immeasurable.

 

I have also gone skydiving, white water rafting, and gallivanting all over North America. Constantly seeking out new adventures.

 

I took pictures of anything and everything with a hand-me-down Minolta point and shoot when I was a teenager. The things I enjoy in life are also the things I like to photograph. I especially enjoy finding beauty in unexpected places.
