I purchased my first DSLR (Canon 70D) on January 2014. Since then I have been trying to dive deeper and deeper into phantastic world of photography. I am still in a phase where I try to photograph everything around me, document events I attend, etc... trying to find my own area of interest, my own voice/style...

What I like about Flickr is my daily portion of pictures from people who's work I admire.

I also run this small group about all kinds of outdoor activities - there's just few members but the pictures there are really awesome!

Angelika Hörschläger's album forest, wood, trees...

Majority of the shots being taken with 50 mm lens and F/1.4. Great use of these lens and sort of challenging to usual landscape approach (wide lens, everything in focus...). It really takes you into the forests :)

John Westrock's album In The Forest...

Very similar approach to the album above. Most of the shots from Washington state area... Love that album :)
