I'm a sew-a-holic . . . just kind of making it up as I go along: I tend to sew "on the fly". It's a challenge (w/3 kids and a job I work from home), but I squeeze in creative time wherever I can. Skooks is a nickname I got when I was working in the kitchen at a camp on the Yukon River. An Athabascan native that worked there told me that it means "little child." Though I was about 25 at the time, I took it as a compliment. :)
