Photography has been a constant throughout my adult life! Interests and subjects change (less so now) but it's a mindset and, more important, a creative outlet without equal (in my world).

We no longer call NC home and, sadly, the Green Swamp is no longer my "playground". It's missed - a lot. Filling that void is now an entirely new area. A common bond between home now (far eastern Texas) and our former home is the Long Leaf Pine - Pinus palustris. We're at the extreme western edge of it's range here so there are familiar subjects...and those that are unfamiliar as well. New challenges so the adventure continues.

Since retiring (5/1/25), NC has now become home, once again. Texas was great! I'm appreciative of the friendships formed there and hope they remain as such. Family is here, so it was a super-easy decision to return. We don't see that changing.
