I currently work at my mothers fabulous fabric shop called Country Fabrics and Quilting. Don't let the name fool you, we have a wide selection of modern fabrics from the best of todays designers. Anna Maria, Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, Tina Givens, Tula Pink, Kokka, Moda fabrics and so much more.

The shop was started by my grandmother Lou in 1970, so I am the 3rd generation of 'women who sew'. I run our website, The Stash blog, our pattern company as well as my own personal blog. Our shop was just chosen as one of the Top 10 quilt shops by Better Homes & Gardens, so be sure to check us out in the Fall 2011 issue of Quilt Sampler.

 

I've also been published recently in STITCH magazine. Fall 2011, the Design Issue, featured my Drop Top Messenger Bag on the front cover. I am so excited to have that honor. Its a great bag, check it out!

 

I spend everyday in the shop, then design & sew when I get home. My house is full of handmade quilts and comforts of home. I live with my bf, two dogs (golden & lab) on a lake in MN. Most days I wake up and think it can't get much better than this.
