I am Balachandder SK, aged 60 (DOB: 15.06.1957), retired from STATE BANK OF INDIA on 30.06.2017.

I am a full time freelance Photographer now. I started my passionate Photography journey since 1979 and started serious professional Photography since 1985. I have been a very successful freelance & event photographer since then for the past 32 years.

I am from CHENNAI, TAMILNADU, INDIA, a beautiful City, State and country with diversified Culture, Customs, Heritage, Colors & Lovely People.

I am a Life Member of the following Photographic Associations in INDIA.

(1) 160 years old (1857) prestigious "PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY OF MADRAS" (PSM)

(2) 65 years old (1952) Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) and

(3) 34 years old (1983) India International Photographic Council (IIPC).

I have won many National & International Awards in Photography as a regular Salon Exhibitor from 1987 to 1994.

I have acquired AFIP title from Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) in 2003.

Many of my photos have been published on the covers of Monthly Magazines, In-house magazines, Calendars & Audio Cassettes and were used by other eminent Photographers for Teaching Basic and advanced Photography.

My main interests in Photography are, People, Wedding & Other Events, Portfolio, Nature, Landscape, Candid, Children, Product, Table top, Food, Macro, Street Photography etc.,

My motto is: "Shoot a lot of pictures. Experiment. Don’t go out with preconceptions of what a picture will look like. That will block you from being receptive to something new and exciting."

I enjoy fellowship more than my Photography by helping my fellow Photographers to understand this fine art to the maximum...
