I was born in 1987 (makes me currently 19) and i have been doing photography for about 4years now. I am completely self taught and i have enjoyed every minute of learning. I used to be a proud member of deviantART but stopped a few months back through not having enough time to fit it into my life and i was going through a weird lack of inspiration for a while.

However...as you can see im back in the game and taking pictures again. I currently use a Canon EOS 30D with the 17-85mm IS lens. My other lenses consist of the Canon 10-22mm wideangle, the 90-300mm telephoto and when i can grab it from her i like to use my girlfriends Sigma 105mm Macro. I also shoot film and i use for that a Canon EOS 300X with 24-90mm and 90-300mm lenses. I dont really have a current film perference to use.

I work at Jessops (UKs largest camera store) fulltime in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol (UKs 2nd busiest shopping mall). Through Jessops i have met many professional photographers that do everything from weddings as a side hobby to extremist pro's that bear natures all to get that killer shot.

I use Adobe Lightroom as my main photographic application. I shoot into RAW format so i can have more control at post-process. However i do try and shoot perfect to minimise post-processing, if i post-process its only small edits and never really anything major. I prefer to show what i saw/captured rather then showing someone and amazingly well edited fully-coloured sunset for example.

Im always looking to expand my photographic knowledge and all advice is welcome.
