Hi to everyone;

thanks for stopping by my profile.

Originally from Italy, where I lived the first 46 years of my life, I moved in The Netherlands almost 6 months ago, where i hope to find a job soon; in the meanwhile I'm studying Dutch language (it's very difficult...). I re discovered photography a few years ago; someone can say very late... I make photos without any artistic intent, and personally I don't like people who self call themselves artists of the photography. I make photos, basically because I enjoy it; because I like show other people the way i see the world and sometimes, why not, through my photos allow people to have a glimpse of my emotions.

You will never see in my photostream a collage of my few explored photos (if someone really want to know how many can always know it through the "View my DNA" link in the profile). Simply, I'm not interested in this thing.

My photocamera is a modest Pentax K100D super and my lenses are a PENTAX smc DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL II

and a SIGMA 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 DG; a set of close-up lenses and a polarized filter Tamron. That's it; I think I will buy a good tripod soon and when i will collect enough money, some other lenses ( i would like to buy a sigma 10-20mm... )

La mia dotazione fotografica è molto semplice:

Pentax K100D super

PENTAX smc DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL II

SIGMA 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 DG

Filtro polarizzatore Tamron

Lenti addizionali macro

I have known Ugo for a little less than a year now and I am regularly brought back to visit his photostream, even his oldest works, because in his pictures I always find a fresh, genuine (almost childish, but in a positive way), true to life and inspired curiosity and joy in portraying even the most basic objects of everyday. His work is never banal or trivial but always carefully crafted and it is a pleasure for me to have him amongst my contacts.
