Hi, I'm Ray I've just turned 70 and a bit of a relic from the past having been schooled in the old "wet process" of photography. Fortunately, I've long since embraced digital with all of its wonderful technologies for the manipulation and enhancement of images. Thankfully I can now do in minutes what used to take days in the darkroom and I can honestly say - I don't miss it. There was a time I felt film offered superior quality but even those days are long gone. I've been fortunate to have been able to travel far and wide, always with camera in hand and a photographer's ready eye. The photographs in my Showcase are just a few of the tens of thousands from the past 50 years or so.
