I got into photography when I was twelve and have had a camera since.

When I started, I just wanted to give image to memories and all the beautiful and exiting things I saw in the world.

In a way, that's stil the case.

I love to let people see the beauty in this world. Nature, Mother Earth. Mostly close to home. Fryslân, the Netherlands and sometimes just across the border.

I hope it inspires people. Realising what beautiful world we live in. Becomming conscious that we are all part of the same world and to respect and honour all, so the world can stay a beautiful place.

Digital camera's I've had;

My first digital camera was the Trust 950 PowerC@m Zoom (2003). A cheap 2Mp camera that made every picture look blue.

Next one was a Kodak EasyShare Z740 (2006).

Then a Canon Power Shot (2011) A simple point and shoot with very good results. Smartphone camera's became better and the camera was left home.

Wanting to express myself more I got the Samsung NX210 systemcamera (2014).

Smartphone is easy for point and shoot and is mostly at hand but I stil use the Samsung for better pictures.

Pictures are taken when I 'wander the world' on foot or by bicycle.

I'm still learning and loving photography. Also from watching other peoples work. I hope you enjoy my photo stream and let me know what you think :-)
