My favourite kind of work is the lo-fi stuff made with toy cameras, pinholes and alternative techniques.

Most of my own practice is process-based - I like to mess about with cameras, make work in the darkroom and just dabble with ideas and techniques just to see what's possible. Astrophotography is a recent interest and I'm trying to combine my love of lo-fi with awesome astronomical images.

I prefer to shoot on film with my Holgas (a CFGN, a 135BC and several 120Ns bearing scars from hacks), as well as a Mamiya 645 and a Box Brownie. Several months ago, I got a reconditioned Olympus Trip 35 which I'm looking forward to putting through its paces.

My digital kit includes a Nikon D80 with basic kit lenses and a Lumix LX-3.
