I mainly take photos for myself. It helps me to focus on things outside of my own head as well as see the world a bit differently. I mostly take photos of nature and more specifically birds (a personal fascination).

When I'm not behind the camera I'm usually creating things with either words or paper (or both, I suppose!). A lot of my time goes to the critters as well - a senior snugglebug mutt and two parrots - a green cheek conure and a cockatiel.
