Hello. I am a people and sports photographer, bouncing between Miami, Tampa, St Pete, and Sarasota, Florida. Action catches my eye, and so do dramatic types of photos. I also love shooting portraits, and am now enjoying street photography as well. I am partial to monochrome images but believe that not all images were meant to be seen in black and white. I attended Purdue University and I am also a US Army veteran.
My Stand on AI Images: Just so everyone understands, I do not and will never post an AI image here as I don't believe AI images should be called photographs. I think AI images can be beautiful and creative but they should not be referred to as photographs...because they aren't. Look up the word "photograph" in a dictionary and you'll find that an AI image does not fit that description. Instead a new word or term needs to be created describing AI images, and AI images need to be placed in a category of its own; but definitely not as a photograph.
Bottom line: Any and all of my photos with a person in it are of a real person...someone I know. I don't do AI.

"I can't tell you how many pictures I've missed, ignored, trampled, or otherwise lost just 'cause I've been so hell bent on getting the shot I THINK I want".

Shoot it now. Don't assume you can do the picture "later". (Don't think you can come back tomorrow and get it. Won't happen. Light won't be there. Subjects will have second thoughts. There'll be a parade right where you want to shoot. Don't ever assume you can do a picture later.)

"Engaging in regular photography practice offers a beautiful combination of constancy and forgiveness. It’s a journey where each click of the shutter presents another opportunity for growth and improvement. As you commit to this journey, you’ll notice your techniques refining and your perception sharpening over time."
~Eva Pollack
