I live in Rural Iowa with my husband, Andrew and our son Brighton, our daughter Emmeline and our pets, Feebee (a golden ret./black lab mix), Joey a PITA Toy Poodle, and Guinness, our polydactyl tuxedo cat. As well as fish and plants. We are a close family, we almost always sleep in the same room, play in the same room, cook and eat in the same room, and usually there is more than one party at a time in the bathroom...(TMI?)

I am enjoying this new art of photography which I am learning from my husband and trial and error. I am also an independent contracting pet groomer at a veterinary clinic where I also occasionally work at the front desk. I am also a gourd "artist." I use quotes because my gourd art is art with a lowercase "a." It's something I enjoy and only sell because I need to get them out of the house and keep my sanity.

I enjoy knitting & crochet, reading, biking, being with my mac, photography, flickr and browsing for hours on etsy. I also enjoy espresso, coffee, and coffee. Did I say coffee? Ok, I am a fanatic and just any old coffee won't do. I'm not a connoisseur or a snob, but drinking foldgers or butter nut just isn't worth my time or effort anymore.
