I'm lucky to live in a state that's had bottle deposit/returns since the mid-70s. In the late 60s I helped start an still-successful food co-operative that does more than $5 million a year in sales.

I'm and admirer of the traditional Japanese sensibilities of beautiful design, seasonal cycles, and use/re-use of the furoshiki as a bag/wrapper/carrier.

Most of my photos here are for my blog, but I'll add some others from time to time.
