I am a wife, mom, and nurse with a passion for photography. I love candid, spontaneous images that demonstrate real life. Lauren Greenfield is my ultimate icon. I love the raw reality of her work.

I am a labor and delivery nurse currently in the process of pursuing my MSN. My camera is my creative outlet. I wish I had more time to have fun with photography rather than my current course load which includes research, research, and more research!

I have met some awesome talent through this site and love the ability to feel inspired everyday. I have no desire to create a career out of photography. Every time I open a photo book to learn about the technical details I slam it shut worried that I am going to ruin one of the few things left in my life that is creative, spontaneous, and fun!

Photography amazes me. I love looking at it. I love pretending I know how to take pictures. I really love manipulating things in photoshop even though I essentially suck!

My children are my favorite photography subjects! They have the most amazing blue eyes compliments of their dad! My two beautiful daughters who are complete polar opposites. Caroline is model gorgeous and talented while Mackenzie is a modern day version of Punky Brewster with a big heart and tremendous sensitivity. My husband is the best dad ever!
