And so it begins - I just joined Flickr to learn and be inspired by all the talent I know is on here. Facebook wasn't cutting it anymore...

I started creative photography in August (2011) after I bought my cam (Nikon D3100). So naturally, I want to meet other people with the same type of passion and interest as me - especially those who don't mind giving feedback and critiques (art school style).

Before I branch out and focus on any one particular kind of photography, I plan on doing a lot of experimenting. That way I can really find my niche. I never was that interested in things like architecture and landscapes until I got my own camera, but I am in the "I wanted learn all the basics" phase. I got that first SLR camera syndrome.

My primary interests include sports photography (especially boxing, track & field, MMA, and gymnastics), nature photography, general photojournalism/ travel photography and basically getting some of those shots the average photographer wouldn't dare trying.

Art & design-wise, I'm accustomed to sitting and drawing portraits or caricatures at a desk and/ or behind a computer for hours. Now, I want to have fun running around and getting my hands a little dirty - then come back with pictures to show you.

And so it begins!
