I've lived in Scotland for most of my life; I was born in London, but moved to Falkirk when I was only 2, so Scotland is all I really know. When I'm not out with my camera I like to mountain bike, kayak and snowboard, although I'll often have a compact with me.

Landscapes are my favourite photos to take, although I enjoy all photography. I mainly head out blindly to see what I find, but sometimes go somewhere specific, either way it often results with me up to my knees in a freezing stream trying to get the shot I want...

For 2011 I'm planning to continue to work at improving my photography, to get the photo right in the camera and needing less time in Photoshop. I also want to get to more flickr events, particularly the Scotland meetups group and the Edinburgh meetups group.
