Someone once said that if you're asked to describe yourself in one word, the answer should be 'shrewd.' I like that.
Word games aside, I have recently enjoyed a renewed love affair with photography after a long break. Way back in the distant past I used to own film SLR's - Canons & a Pentax P30 as I recollect, but over the years the frustration of never knowing what you'd taken until weeks after the event just annoyed the hell out of me. (I'm not that patient!)
Later, I started to use a series of Canon cameras and now have a M43 system built around an Olympus OMD-EM1 . My DSLR collection started with an Olympus E -510. Next came a Nikon D90 & I've progressed over time to a D800, which I sold and reverted to a D700.
The sort of photos I enjoy taking are usually colour saturated. I love the brightness of an image and the smile that it brings to me (and hopefully others) when something jumps off the page. To be honest, I've only really discovered that through trial and error but it feels 'right' to me.
In the past 18 months I've tried to take more 'people' shots and this is an aspect I'm increasingly enjoying.
I hope you like my efforts.
