I photograph natural landscapes, both traditional and abstract. Anything and anywhere wild, remote and untouched by man interests me the most. Time is a favourite theme, and is usually present in either a direct (like shutter speed) or indirect (such as the subject) way in my images. Above all I try and capture images that offer the viewer some kind of insight into what or where they portray, which goes a little beyond just a record of what I saw.

I embed my images with colour profiles, so they're best viewed in a browser which supports them (e.g. FireFox)...

My photography is most definitely a hobby. Professionally, I write mission control software which plans imaging payload activities of earth observation spacecraft for an exciting and growing little UK space company called SSTL. So you could also say that I am a space photographer!
