I work daily as manager for SKALD forlag, a Norwegian publishing house specialised on high quality design books as art books, photo books and other types of coffee table books as well as children's books. Besides work I run my own company, Simone Stibbe – form & foto, established in 2008 as a ventile for my passion for graphic designs and photography.

In 2010, after six years publishing lovely coffee table and children’s books, I took a two years leave from the publishing work to look for new experiences and challenges. During this time I spent some time in Zambia working with photography and graphic design for several organisations.

I also got the opportunity to photograph an adventures three week's trip through the untouched Norwegian nature from the coast to the highest mountain top, Galdhøpiggen, which resulted in the beautiful book Reint eventyr (SKALD, 2011).
