In the short time that I've known Simone through flickr, I've discovered a richness of form in her style of macro photography. It has enriched my view of other works that I've seen, and always provices a powerful comparison point. The choice of focal point and control of depth of field in her imagery has consistantly created a perceptual surprise in even the most mundane of objects, creating a new world for the eye to venture through, and a new manner in wich to see. Her photography as a whole has prompted me to take more time looking at each scene that I photograph, looking for a more powerful point of view.
