BIOGRAFIA

Nato l’otto dicembre 1980 ad Arona cittadina affacciata sulla sponda occidentale del Lago Maggiore e residente in un paese limitrofo. Dopo aver frequentato fra il 1994 e il 1997, il triennio di grafica pubblicitaria presso l’Istituto Olga Fiorini di Busto Arsizio, ispirato anche grazie alle romantiche e affascinanti cornici paesaggistiche delle località in cui vivo e trascorro gran parte della vita e aiutato da una predisposizione ereditata dal nonno paterno Amerigo Mercuriali, scultore e marmista angerese operante fra gli anni trenta e sessanta, incominciai ad avvicinarmi all’arte della fotografia e pittura conquistato soprattutto dalle loro molteplici possibilità espressive. In seguito partecipai a lezioni di disegno e pittura.

I miei lavori non seguono un solo motivo o tema ma spaziano ampliamente dalla paesaggistica alla macro, dall’architettura all’urban, dal fashion al glamour, rappresentandoli in forma artistica e creativa, cogliendo nei soggetti, oggetti o luoghi per me attraenti, temi, forme e colori che suscitano emozioni da poter comunicare.

BIOGRAPHY

I was born on the eighth of December 1980 in Arona, a small town on the west bank of the Maggiore Lake, and reside in a neighbouring town. After I attended three years of graphic design at the Olga Fiorini Institute in Busto Arsizio between 1994 and 1997 and inspired by the romantic and fascinating landscapes of the places where I live and have spent most of my life, as well as a predisposition inherited from my paternal grandfather, Amerigo Mercuriali, sculptor and marble cutter working in Angera between the 1930s and 1960s, I began to approach the photographic art and painting captured especially of the their varied expressive possibilities. After that I participated in lessons of drawing and painting.

My work does not follows single subject or theme but soars widely from landscapes to macro, from architectures to urban, from fashion to glamour, representing them in an artistic and creative form, taking in the subjects or places attractive to me, themes, shapes and colors that can arouse emotions or communicate.
