In July 2020 I have just bought my first proper camera! ( At 58 I am rather old for this). I am learning how to use it in my garden. My earlier pictures were taken on my iPhone, which gives remarkable clarity, but the lens is limited. I love the beauty of the natural world. This includes amphibia, reptiles, birds, spiders, flowers, plants and insects (and bats, pigs, hedgehogs, stoats , weasels, etc etc). Apart from occasional cropping, all of my photos are as taken, without any adjustment. I wish I knew about focus stacking. I don't glue my subjects, or interfere with them in any way. All photographs are snapshots of what is there, the vast majority of which are taken in our garden.. Thanks to Susan, the gardener for providing the palette for my photographs. I live in England. A place where there are few venomous or exotic creatures, or people. It is a beautiful, mellow place. A place that I love.
