A few where familiar plants from my homeland, some i could assign to a family while many others where completely unfamiliar. It very quickly became apparent that there was no comprehensive illustrated local flora. At this point i purchased a digital camera which was fantastic for making a record of what i had seen. This allowed me to be able to do much of the identification in front of a computer back in England using the ever expanding Internet.
