I take photos. If you want one, let me know. Can talk price in world and please understand that setting up for a photo could take a long while depending on what you're asking for, so make sure you have time to post up your avatar for a couple hours just in case.
Why I don't always photo-shop.
SL has many types of Viewers and honestly even the OG SL viewer does a pretty good job at getting some amazing shots. I don't always enjoy photo-shopped images (especially if they are of a product) because I feel it takes away from the reality of the beauty the game has already. When you photo-shop an item, it is just that more disappointing to get it on your own avatar/doll only to find seams that were photo-shopped out of the product AD. So -most- of my photos are straight up lighting, camera, angles, Blackdragon Viewer and prim magic that you can achieve and see in world.
That isn't to say that I don't appreciate the hours and work spent by other artists (or that I don't enjoy attempting to do it once in a while myself) considering a lot of great work comes from it that brings a story more to light. Perhaps I am lazy or maybe I just suck with photo-shop, but in my opinion... When I see a pair of amazing eyes that I want to add to my character for that -look- and get them in only to find the color dull, the detail lacking and overall placing nothing like the photo in the AD... it makes me dislike photo-shop more and more.
Why I sometimes write a huge story under a photo.
A lot, or nearly all of the avatars you see in the photos were created characters for roleplay. Some of them I have been playing for a very long time and some of them I had to give up on the story with due to a sim closing or loss of a rp partner. Writing more to their story and taking photos of them helps me get over the loss of 'what could have been' story wise. In some cases the story is shared with others who suffered the same loss to try and encourage them to keep going with their stories as well. I've had trouble wanting to get back into roleplay on SL, so this has been my outlet for creativity for now.
Photographers looking for models? Would you like to use any of my avatars in a photo?
I have no problem being a prop in a photo with one of my avatars. It makes me feel like I did a great job creating such a character. literally flat rate of L$500. Not per hour, just flat out even if you need me for several days in a row. L$500 per character. So if you want my drow for several photos, just 500. If you want my drow and my tiefling L$1000. Want my neko my drow and my tiefling for multiple shots? L$1500. one character L$500, multiple chars +L$500 for each character. If you want a new character created the price will have to go up, because creating a new character has costs. That can be discussed in-world.
my favorites of my own.
