my name is Silke and I am working contemporary as cook in a kindergarden but study anthropology at the University of Iceland as well. Photography has been a hobby for a very long time. I don´t know much about the technical side of photography yet, still trying things out regarding processing and all that stuff :)

However, here you´ll find quite a large number og photos, mainly series. I am mostly fascinated with photographing people and events but far most I try to catch special moments, gestures, communication and so on. I want to tell stories; documenting things/events and freezing memories.

My camara is the Canon 40d and my main lenses are the good old Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM.
