Her camera moves as quickly as a salsa dancer keeping pace with a strong syncopated beat. Instantly she is drawn to the obscure, the irreverent, and the mundane. She focuses, shoots, and smiles. For she knows she has successfully captured an angle on life that draws her like a strong magnetic force. It is her mission to shoot outside the lines. What seems like chaos is actually skillful pursuit. Looking over her work will soon cause you to realize that her subject matter is truly unique, contemporary, delightful and more importantly, really good art. Having the pleasure of accompanying her on a recent photo trip I was amazed at the ease she displayed in finding just the right context and contradiction.
