Jarrett has the ability to manipulate a subject -- either digitally or at the time of the shoot -- to create an atmosphere that is somehow more acute, more intensified, and more extraordinary than life in motion. He finds the aspect of the subject that is most mythical, and he brings it to the foreground of the photo.
