I enjoy taking photographs with a film camera and playing with them in the darkroom. I also use digital technology when I need to, but my preference is film.

I am not wedded to any particular genre. I am interested in the illuminated moment, whether in the woods, an abandoned farm or on the streets. I do not consciously search for specific things. I let the world lead me where it will. I roam and wait. Sometimes I take a photograph as things unfold in the flow.

I am a past Director Trustee of The Royal Photographic Society and the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool.
