I've always liked the outdoors, my hobbies included mountain biking and cross country running. Unfortunately 18 months ago I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes, and I still don't have my blood sugar under control which rules out running and cycling for a while.

I decided recently to take up digital photography, so I could at least still do something outside that wasn't going to put me in a coma :-)

My photos are rubbish at the moment, but I'm reading and practicing as much as possible, so I hope I improve a bit!
