I, Nicholas Cormier, am the founder and key creating force behind Sickled Foot. Originally it was intended for recording personal achievements with dance, food, & photography. I was equally passionate about all three at one time. Nowadays, the foundation of Sickled Foot is photography. Hints of food & dance can still be found every once in a while.

I am a relatively new photographer whose excitement lies within creating fine art contemporary stories within a photographic frame. I want to produce images that draw the viewer’s eyes and soul in & have them feel something. Whether the emotion & mood are what I had intended the viewer to experience or not, people may be reminded of something from their own lives that will have them perceive the story differently. As long as the viewer has some type of feeling while looking at the concepts I have created, I am fine with that.

I really enjoy working with ordinary people who are willing to believe in my vision & my ability to create unique, personal, & “one-of-a-kind” pieces of art. I take pleasure in making most of the props and sets that I use in my scenes or I ask local artist to collaborate with me. Doing this means that the images I create cannot be replicated entirely by someone else.
