For Christmas (2009), I got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T1i. Now the adventure begins! I really want to get a top end 100 mm prime (fixed) lens, but that will have to wait. In the mean time, I've picked up a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II (prime lens) and some extension tubes.

When I'm not taking pictures of beer-related subjects, I focus on wild flowers and bugs. I'd like to take pictures of wild reptiles, mammals and birds, but they rarely accommodate my need to get REALLY close to get a decent picture...

I still take my pocket camera with me in casual situations or where I will be snorkeling (I have an underwater enclosure for that camera).

Now I'm saving up money for lenses and lighting in hopes of taking some REALLY good pictures....
