I am very much a beginner at this whole photography thing. My older sister is actually the “pro” in our family, and I’ve watched her for years take amazing pictures capturing the essence of things and people.

Just quite on a whim, I decided last summer to try my hand at it. I will admit, I am learning, and there’s SO much I don’t know. But little by little, I’m picking up on things, and every so often, I actually manage to capture something that’s actually pretty good. Now, I don’t go anywhere without my camera…because I just never know when something is going to catch my eye.

I’m completely open to comments and constructive critique. It’s one of the best ways to learn…and I am really enjoying the whole learning process.
