Hi! I'm a spirited thirty-something, former Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania girl who has made Charlotte, NC home for the last six years. (All together now --- NO SNOW, but GO STEELERS!!! Yes -- I'm a Panther's fan too -- just as long as they aren't playing the Steelers.)

While I've always owned Canon cameras, my new favorite toy is my Canon Rebel XTi. I haven't come close to uncovering all of its bells and whistles, but I love it and take it with me almost everywhere. I recently gave my refurbished Canon Powershot** to my lovely mom who tells me she used to love to take pictures too (it's in the genes, see!) --- so I am hoping it will inspire her to explore that love again!

My kids are my two adorable Shelties who are featured on my Flickr page. They are the sweetest dogs on the planet and life without them would not be nearly as much fun. They aren't camera shy (thankfully) and are usually fairly patient with my camera-lugging tendencies.

Despite the notes in my kindergarten report card to the contrary, I'm open to all CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. If you've got something HELPFUL to share, by all means, don't be shy. There are some amazingly talented people in the FLICKR world and I'd love to learn as much as I can from people who want to mentor. :)

**(a processor in it went bad but the awesome Canon folks fixed it free of charge!!! Honestly, it wasn't under warranty and they never blinked an eye about fixing it with no cost to me ---- that's why I will always be a loyal Canon owner!)
