Just like all those other bilingual suburban married mothers of two - uniquely indescribable.

 

As a photographer, I'm slowly coming into my own. I feel that I'm learning something new every day, especially here on Flickr. I'm awed, inspired and intimidated by the stuff I see here. People's imagination and skills blow me away. I am inceredibly flattered when someone likes my work enough makes me their contact.

 

I don't take myself very seriously, but I will readily admit it pleases me hugely when my shots speak to people, on any level. So I keep shooting - to stop time, to capture beauty, to remember an emotion, and above all, just because I love it.

In September of 2006, about a year after I wrote the above, I left a 14-year corporate career (where I never did fit in) and began photographing professionaly. A day doesn't go by when I am not pinching myself for joy...
