I grew up in a photographers' family in Albania - some tell me that, after the Marubis, our family name is quite well known. Being around photography and photographers while growing up had a major influence on me and it continues to this day.
While I was in college, I was employed as the university's student photographer. This gave me a great opportunity to practice event photography. These photos were used for Public Relations materials and publications.
When I was living in Midland, I was also hired to take photos of the famous architect Alden B. Dow's home and studio. These photos were used for various publications and their website.

Whenever I take a peek at the recently added photos from "my contacts," it seems that my first click is often on one of Ledio's photographs. I've been a member of Flikr - and our Exposure Detroit group - for two years. In that time, I will sometimes come across souls that seem to be like my own. The same interests, the same points of view, similar subjects in our work. Ledio is one of them and it's always a blast to go on a shoot with him. He's a great photographer and I esteem his work highly. He's an even better person. I'm glad our passion for photography has put us together... we short family guys gotta stick together!
