The Park Extension Historical Society (SHPEHS) was formed in 2009 as a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting – and more importantly – preserving the memories of this multicultural community of 30,000 plus residents, annexed to the city of Montreal in 1910 and since 2002 forming the west end of the Villeray-St Michel-Park Extension borough.

La Société d’Histoire de Parc-Extension (SHPEHS) est une association à but non lucratif fondée en 2009 et dédiée à la collecte et surtout à la préservation de la mémoire de cette communauté multiculturelle d’environ 30 000 résidents, qui a été annexée à la Ville de Montréal en 1910 et qui forme l’extrémité ouest de l’arrondissement Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension depuis 2002.
