My name is Maria, I love knitting, sewing, fossil hunting, archaeology, egyptology, Roller Derby, collecting vintage stuff, unusual print fabrics, 80's rock music, Blythe, Strawberry Shortcake and Wonder Frogs.

I have a husband, 3 children and two mad furry cat-things and after a long time, now own a miniature dachshund *big smile* :D

My house has undergone a major re-build, and my shiny new craft room is finished!!!

If I could, I'd live in a fuzzy world of yarn and kitsch.

I'm inspired by art nouveau, deco, the 1950's, Japanese pop culture, Bettie Page, and and anything obscure. I like to 'rescue' vintage pottery and have a deep love for pastel pyrex.

Knitting keeps me sane, and my boys keep me busy!

John William Waterhouse and Jasmine Beckett-Griffith are my favourite artists, John Waters, John Hughes and Tim Burton my fave directors.
