After being swallowed whole by the travel bug in college, I unknowingly succumbed to a colorful life that led me down a series of winding, disjointed paths. I soon found out that I was signed up for a never – ending scavenger hunt for the unreachable, unintentional, unthinkable, unseen, untouched, unusual and.. plain awesomeness that travel unveils.

I am that twenty-something girl too old to be at the top of the dysfunctional list, but I’m having a great time leading the charge. While I enjoy most things adventurous, it feels more appropriate to say that adventure (and inevitably ridiculousness) follows me – regardless of where I hide. My life can be a bit of a shitshow at times, but that’s really what keeps me entertained.

An early morning whatsapp conversation with my sister 7,000 miles away turned into a “Come meet me for lunch – I have something we should chat about” text to my boyfriend and within 15 minutes, we decided to scratch the itch, take the plunge and visit the world that was calling.. but with a twist – by motorbike! Within 3 weeks, we had both notified our employers, told all our friends, posted the news on Facebook (making it officially official) and began ticking off the remaining items on our China bucket list. We plan to set off on a round the world motorbike trip starting this summer 2013!
