Tentatively coming back to Flickr. I hate the changes which are ugly, unintuitive and remove the sense of community I liked.

Still hoping to learn a lot more about photography through meeting people on here, getting constructive criticism and see what people have worked on and how they got there.

I am a multi award winning writer and photographer, and am the 2012 RPCV Photographer of the Year. Originally from England, I am currently based in rural Victoria, Australia. I am enjoying combining my passion for photography with my passion for travel and for the people you meet along the journey.

As well as photography I have won several literary and journalism awards, including: the OPSO Media Awards for best feature (2011, finalist 2012) and finalist at the Australian Sports Commission Media Awards (2011, 2012), winner of the Blue Butterfly poetry prize, long listed in the Fish International poetry competition and Commended in The Times Stephen Spender Memorial prize.
