I have had a camera since I was about 8 (Kodak Instamatic I think it was)

I work in the mining industry in a sales / marketing / managerial role (20+ years).

Married, no kids and very happy.

Vegetarian (but not a Vegan)

Have been a Nikon person for about 30 years.

Mainly landscape and travel photography, some formal / glamour / studio work.

Digital has re-energised my photography - now using a D700 with lots of off-camera lighting (yes, I'm a Strobist!)

I have a preference for wide angle over telephoto for most of my photography.

I have a Canon G10, which I love and I find that it compliments my Digital SLR in just the same way that a Leica M would compliment a Film SLR.

I hope to do a bit of sports photography in 2009, as I have not done any for a very long time.

I really like working and sharing with other photographers, sometimes it's a culture-shock, but always enjoyable!
