1/1/2015: I would just like to thank everyone for one million plus views!

9/25/2010: I have been on Flickr for a little less than a year now and the experience has been incredible. As of today. I have had over 100 K views. This is something that I never dreamed would happen. I just want to thank all of the wonderful and generous people who have taken time to look at my photos. All of you are terrific people, and I just hope that I have given back at the very least equally. Thanks!

Although I am a fisherman at heart, I truly enjoy photography. I am simply an amateur, but that does not take away from the enjoyment. The photos I take are of situations that I find interesting and I enjoy sharing my experiences with others. I particularly like to photograph all of the lovely flowers that my wife Debbie grows as well as photograph nature in general. If you look at my sets, you will notice that I also stay well in tune with all of the birds that take up residence on my property. I have often gone to great lengths and pain to obtain the shots of them nesting.

Carl Sandberg once said, "Discover creative solitude", and that is what photography, (and fishing) does for me.
