Educated as an economist, I trained to be an actress, and then parlayed those skills into a career in business communication. While I currently live in the Washington, D.C., area with my husband and three dogs, I work globally.

With close to two decades of experience, my business specializes in strategic, integrated and measurable "social PR" for bottom-line results. Clients range from small to large non- and for-profit organizations who understand the unique community building opportunities social media brings to the table, and want to work with a seasoned professional to maximize them, without paying the hefty price tag that usually accompanies said counsel.

In addition to working with select consulting clients on audits, strategy development and implementation, my business also offers speaking and training services, which help you move "from corporate codswallop to community cool(TM)."

Finally, I've been adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University since 2009, teaching two courses for the M.A. in Communication program, and I recently joined Rutgers University as an instructor for the PR Certificate program it introduced in 2013.
