Welcome to Shohei Katsuki Photography!!

"Photography can heal the world".

Shohei was born in 1975 in Fukuoka, Japan. From the elementary school age, Shohei was interested in art and his drawings won in several art competition.

As a teenager, he was drawn into photography when he started using his father's SLR camera. To stay up-to-date, he joined a photography club. Back then, his main focus was black and white photography.

When he moved to Vancouver in 2001, he decided to pursue photography as a profession, so he attended the Focal Point Photography School to learn digital photography with DSLR. Also, he learned printing techniques from another professional photographer.

In 2011, Shohei started his own business. He specializes in capturing nature scenes with a healing message and now he is actively working as professional artist.
