The website was totally going to be dedicated to the building of South Howden Station - East Yorkshire. Howden was part of the Hull & Barnsley Railway, however delays in the building of somewhere to house the model has made progress slow on the project.

My original site was just called SHMR - South Howden Model Railway.

After starting the project it got me back in to modelling and have focused my other interested in WWII, in particular North Africa and the Med.

So the site had evolved into Railway, Military, Castles and places visited during research, however since the recent changes to the ownership of Flickr and the changes to how many photo's you can have (1TB now down to 1000 photos) plus the price hike for a Pro account the site is being cut down before the photo's are deleted by Flickr and I want to make that choice not Flickr.

So unfortunately some of your Fav's may have disappeared over the previous months. The train and military museums have gone along with Castles and places visited in case you were looking for them. The site is now just left with the best model images and some local images. I have now cut the collection down below the Flickr 1000 image threshold for the Sept 2020 deadline, so there will be no more deleting and very little adding, it's basically what goes on must come off situation now. However if a model has more than one image they will be replaced by the new image, many thanks for the understanding.

Since the changes made to the site I also edited the title down to just Scale Models.
